Join us for 'Menopause Matters,' a vital symposium exploring workplace issues affecting women experiencing menopause, scheduled to coincide with the International Day of Action for Women's Health.
This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with an often-overlooked aspect of workplace health and gain valuable knowledge about creating inclusive environments for women experiencing menopause.
This three-hour event brings together leading academics, clinicians, and workplace advocates to discuss challenges, solutions, and best practices. The symposium features 90 minutes of presentations from speakers including an academic researcher sharing findings on menopause and workplace implications, a clinical expert addressing diagnosis challenges, an ANU representative discussing university support strategies, a representative from the Canberra Menopause Centre highlighting available resources for women, and Chiaka Barry, Shadow Minister for Women, who will address the often overlooked experiences of migrant women navigating menopause.
After the presentations, participants can enjoy morning tea and networking, followed by a 45-minute interactive panel discussion with audience Q&A.
